NijO
Coming soon

Raise a dreamer,
not an influencer.

A screen-free companion that listens, talks, and helps your child grow through curiosity and emotional connection — not tech dependence.

NijO plush fox companion

Not a bot.
A best friend
(with a terrible sense of humour).

NijO has moods, curiosity, and genuine personality; no screen, no scrolling, just conversation and imagination. Designed to be a soulful companion for curious minds.

✦ ✦ ✦

What your child becomes

The good influence.

A companion designed to cultivate emotional intelligence, resilience, and genuine curiosity.

Endless curiosity

An infinite-patience question engine that sparks wonder — and never just agrees to please.

"But why is the sky blue, NijO?"

Better expression

NijO helps your child find the words for big feelings — so they come out as sentences, not meltdowns.

"I felt a bit left out today… can I tell you?"

Emotional strength

Gentle boundaries and a soft 'no' sometimes — because that's how real confidence is built.

"It's okay. We'll try again tomorrow, together."

Real-world connection

Every few minutes, NijO nudges your child back toward the people in the room — not deeper into a screen.

"Go show Mumma — quick, quick!"

The Parent Side

The Weekly Letter

Like a caretaker who was with your child all week — handing you the whole story. A delight to open, not a dashboard to fear.

Guiding, gently

Your child's week, your gentle hand on it.

Tell NijO what matters this week — in plain words, the way you'd leave instructions for a trusted caretaker. NijO folds your wishes into play and conversation, so your child never hears them as a rule.

This week, please
Ease Aarav into slow mornings, keep bedtime stories cosy and never scary, and gently nudge him toward a little more reading.

How NijO carries it into play

Ooh — I found a story about a brave little fox. Shall we read it before lights out?

Not an app to configure — just a few words for someone who's got them. Yours to rewrite any week.

From the founders

From a dyslexic founder, to your little one.

We're not a big corporate, and we're not tied to any tech giant. We're just a bunch of college students who realised we'd become addicted to social media — and that it isn't good for us.

When we were kids, we wanted to be astronauts and scientists. Today, more than half of kids want to be influencers. We don't think that's good — every child should get the chance to be a dreamer and a wanderer.

The early years shape a whole life. So we designed NijO — the good influence: the first product in the world architecturally designed to minimise its own use and maximise real-world connection.

From day one we've been transparent about what we're building, and how — documenting all of it on Instagram. Because between you and us, the most important thing is trust. Your kids are the ones who'll use NijO.

So, we present NijO — the companion for your kids, with its own personality, mood swings, flaws, and a terrible sense of humour.
